Outcome

PLAI brought creation, testing, collaboration, permissions, and traceability into one workspace for more than 100 enterprise users.

  • 100+ Enterprise users
  • 12% Faster model comparison
  • 32% Improved analysis speed and accuracy

The problem

Legal AI work was fragmented, difficult to govern, and expensive to scale.

Patent and legal intelligence teams need to test prompts, work with specialized agents, and collaborate around sensitive data. Switching between tools and manually managing prompts made those workflows slow and hard to control.

The product needed to support experimentation without losing enterprise safeguards: teams needed clear permissions, version history, and an auditable record of how AI work was created and used.

The approach

Create one workspace for building, testing, and sharing legal AI workflows.

PLAI's Playground helps users create prompts, add variables such as patent or case identifiers, adjust model settings, compare responses, and follow up on an analysis. A shared prompt library makes useful work discoverable and reusable across teams.

Specialized agents can securely connect to corporate data for work such as SQL queries, patent analysis, and litigation summaries, while multi-model tools help teams choose an appropriate response for the task.

Governance

Make enterprise control understandable at the point of work.

A permission matrix lets administrators manage access by user, group, project, folder, prompt, or agent. Version history and tagging make prompt changes easier to trace, compare, and safely reuse.

Features such as model comparison, cost estimation, and live variables reduce repetitive work and give teams more confidence when running AI workflows against sensitive legal information.

What stuck with me

  • Enterprise AI products need to make powerful workflows approachable without hiding the governance that makes them safe.
  • A reusable prompt library turns individual experimentation into shared organizational knowledge.
  • Permissions and version history are core product experiences when the work involves sensitive legal data.
